Thank You For A Wonderful 2011

We want to thank everyone who has partnered with Compassion Services International in 2011. It was once said, “Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.” Together we were able to do some great things in 2011. So many of you have given of your time, talents and resources to help the hurting around the world. In 2011 your gifts reached the people of Japan, Myanmar, Central America and continued to help the people of Haiti in their efforts to rebuild. Most recently,  aid was sent to earthquake victims in Turkey and to flood victims in the Philippines. In 2011 we also saw tornadoes rip through Alabama and Joplin, MO. Because so many of you gave, financial aid and supplies were sent to help many families that were directly affected by these tragic events.

CSI exists because of your faithful support. The words thank you cannot begin to convey how much CSI appreciates every person who contributes their time, talents, resources and finances to ensure that those in greatest need receive the aid that they so desperately need.

2012 promises to be an exciting time for CSI and we are glad that  you have partnered with us to reach out to a world in need. As we continue to focus on helping the hurting around the globe let us remember the words of Winston Churchill, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Thanks again for your sacrificial giving. May 2012 be a joyous and prosperous year for each of you. We look forward to partnering with you again this year. May God’s blessings be upon you.

Vegetables and Christmas Presents in Japan

The people of Ishinomaki have been rebuilding their lives since the devastation that hit many months ago. Fresh Vegetables and Christmas presents were welcomed by many on a recent trip. This is the line after only about 30 minutes of the group being there. The happiness on people’s faces when they received the gifts and vegetables was a beautiful thing to witness by those on the trip. As one person said after seeing the children receive Christmas presents, There is nothing like making a child happy.  Thanks to all who continue to support efforts to help those in need around the globe.
